Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded and well established law firm based in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and professional environment. The role offers a salary of £65,000 to £85,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, a performance bonus of up to 20%, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and two days at Christmas, and strong long term prospects within a growing practice.

The Commercial Property Solicitor in Leatherhead, Surrey will be trusted with a varied and high quality commercial property caseload from the outset. The firm has a strong presence across London and the South East and is recognised for delivering practical, commercially focused advice, with client reviews frequently highlighting responsiveness and clarity. This Commercial Property Solicitor opportunity in Leatherhead, Surrey offers exposure to quality transactional work within a collaborative and forward thinking team.

Role Responsibilities

The Commercial Property Solicitor will be based in Leatherhead, Surrey and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:

Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documentation
Conducting due diligence including title checks, searches, and compliance reviews
Advising on landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and development issues
Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies
Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Supporting the development and mentoring of junior colleagues

Person Specification

The successful Commercial Property Solicitor in Leatherhead, Surrey will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 4 years PQE and experience managing their own caseload.

In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

Proven experience in commercial property law
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent organisational ability and ability to meet deadlines
Commercial awareness with a client focused approach
Experience in development, planning, or property finance would be advantageous
