Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a safe and hygienic environment for our clients. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking stable employment in the cleaning industry.

Please Note - This position is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Must be able to travel between Exmouth & Budleigh Salterton

1.5 hours @ Budleigh site Followed by 2 hours @Exmouth site Work must be complate by 9am each day.

potential for more hours covering holiday and sickness at the site.

Please note this is a key holder position references will be required.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough of the restaurant, using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, paying particular attention to high-touch surfaces and communal areas.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing.
Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour while representing the company on-site.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills to report issues or concerns clearly and promptly. This role offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to develop their career within the cleaning industry while contributing to clean, safe environments for clients.
