Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality classic public house dishes, with a extensive specials board to show off your culinary skills.

Supporting kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food production and hospitality to showcase their culinary expertise in a fast-paced environment. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional cuisine and service.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
Train new team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold quality standards and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain organised workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
Previous restaurant experience is preferred; hospitality background is advantageous

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
