Full job description

Job Summary

Elite Universal Forwarding is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Import Clerk / Key Account Manager to manage the import process for designated key clients while ensuring excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import shipments, maintaining compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, and building strong relationships with key accounts to support customer retention and business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy drive success.

Duties

Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing a high level of customer service throughout the import process.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and proactive support.
Coordinate import shipments from vessel departure at origin through to final delivery, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Provide regular shipment updates
Work closely with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas partners to facilitate smooth operations.
Assist with invoicing, cost control, and administrative tasks relating to customer accounts.

Experience

Minimum 2 Years Experience within Freight Forwarding & Customs Clearance.
Strong understanding of import procedures, customs requirements, and international shipping documentation.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and customer accounts simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to service delivery.
