Job description

Hourly Rate: £13.47 (£14.00 including supplement - after 6 months)

A market supplement of £0.53p per hour is currently being applied to this role and will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. The Market Supplement will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.00 per hour. There will also be the option to take this as a lump sum annually if preferred

Location: Bridge House Residential Home, Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands

Available Hours: Find a role that fits around you, we have part time opportunities available up to 28 hours, apply below and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss our current vacancies in more detail.

Typically our shifts run between the hours of 7.15am - 3.45pm or 3.30pm - 9.45pm.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Care Services Westmorland and Furness team at Bridge House, as Support Workers (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Residential Care Services.

About Residential Care

Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility, as well as supporting emotional wellness.

About the role

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

‘Bridge House is a purpose built residential home set in the ancient village of Flookburgh. The home is set in its own attractive gardens within proximity the town centre.
