Full job description

At Bradfords Building Supplies, our success is built on strong customer relationships and outstanding service. We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Key Accounts Sales Advisor to join our team and play a vital role in supporting and growing our key customer accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, identifying sales opportunities and delivering a first-class customer experience. Working closely with customers, suppliers and branch colleagues, you'll help ensure our customers receive the products, advice and support they need to keep their projects moving.

As a Key Accounts Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, developing strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact for their business.

You'll handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders and delivery requests, ensuring every interaction is professional, efficient and focused on finding the right solution. By maintaining regular contact with your customers, you'll develop a strong understanding of their businesses, upcoming projects and product requirements, enabling you to identify opportunities to increase sales and grow market share.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, negotiating effectively and achieving results.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a confident communicator with a passion for sales and customer service. You'll enjoy building lasting relationships, influencing decisions and finding solutions that benefit both the customer and the business.

You'll be commercially aware, highly organised and motivated by achieving targets. Whether you're speaking to customers on the phone, responding to enquiries by email or working with colleagues across the branch network, you'll always strive to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Experience within a sales, account management, customer service or builders' merchant environment would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in individuals with the right attitude, drive and willingness to learn.
