Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bakery Shop/Food Prep Assistant to join our passionate team. In this role, you will support daily bakery operations by assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help ensure our bakery continues to serve delicious products with exceptional quality.

Duties

Assist in food preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards
Prepare ingredients and packaging for daily sale, ensuring freshness and presentation
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
Assist with customer service tasks when required, including packaging and product display

Requirements

Experience in food production, food preparation.
Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food prep
