About the Role:

Glasgow is one of Scotland's most established business and engineering centres, and at Pisos Industrial Flooring and Engineering Ltd, we support commercial and industrial clients with reliable flooring, site, and engineering solutions.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can translate business needs into clear, practical solutions. You will work closely with operational teams, project stakeholders, suppliers, and technical colleagues to understand requirements, identify process improvements, and support the successful delivery of business change initiatives.

This is a hands-on mid level position with no executive or senior management responsibilities. You will contribute directly to projects, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Requirements:

Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and define clear project objectives.

Process Analysis:

Review existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements to business processes and operational procedures.

Documentation:

Prepare business requirement documents, process maps, user stories, reports, meeting notes, and project documentation.

Data Analysis:

Analyse operational data, performance reports, and business information to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Communicate with internal departments, project teams, suppliers, and technical colleagues to ensure requirements are understood and properly implemented.

Project Support:

Support project planning, testing, implementation, issue tracking, and post implementation reviews.

Solution Evaluation:

Assist in reviewing proposed systems, tools, and operational solutions to confirm they meet business requirements.

Testing Support:

Help prepare test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing, record issues, and confirm that agreed changes are working as expected.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, project support, process improvement, or a related role.

Business Analysis Skills:

Strong ability to gather requirements, analyse processes, document workflows, and communicate findings clearly.

Technical Understanding:

Comfortable working with business systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, databases, and project management platforms.

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain business requirements to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Organisation:

Able to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and meet agreed project deadlines.

Problem Solving:

A practical and analytical approach to identifying problems, evaluating options, and recommending workable solutions.

Pay: £3,105.00-£3,300.00 per month
