Job Overview

Area G66, pay £1.40/delivered parcel, volumes from 90 to 230 parcels/day considering season and off season volume. start asap

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods and documents while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, as well as the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, vans and cars, to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any discrepancies or damages.
Assist with loading and unloading goods at warehouses or delivery points.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles is advantageous.
Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in logistics or supply chain environments.
