Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Non-Executive Director to join its Board. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the leadership of the Trust during a period of transformation in the NHS and social care landscape.

As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a vital role in shaping our vision ‘Deliver the best care every day for everyone’ and ensuring we deliver on these ambitions.

Clinical background
User/Consumer Experience

Estates and Facilities
Logistics

Digital expertise
Leadership skills
Commercial acumen

We are seeking individuals with significant strategic experience and a proven ability to challenge, contribute to, and support the vision and objectives of complex organisations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of holding the Board to account, coupled with a readiness to embrace a high level of personal accountability.

While NHS experience is not essential, candidates should bring relevant expertise that can be effectively applied in our healthcare environment. You will need to quickly understand the health and social care policy, navigate relationships with key stakeholders, and appreciate governance requirements, including the risks inherent in the delivery of our services. Your sound judgment, political acumen, and ability to provide a fresh perspective will be highly valued.
