Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Gateman/Woman and play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth flow of operations at our construction sites or facilities. This position offers an engaging opportunity to ensure secure access control, monitor site activity, and support overall site safety protocols. Your proactive presence will help foster a secure environment while providing excellent communication and customer service to visitors and team members alike. This paid position is perfect for energetic individuals who are eager to contribute to a well-organized construction or operational setting.

Duties

Manage access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel
Monitor entry and exit of vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Conduct regular site patrols to oversee security conditions and identify potential hazards or unauthorized activity
Communicate clearly with team members, visitors, and emergency responders as needed
Maintain accurate logs of all entries, exits, and incidents throughout shifts
Assist with basic site safety checks and report any irregularities promptly
Support driving duties such as escorting vehicles or transporting personnel within the site when required

Experience

Prior construction experience is highly desirable to understand site operations and safety standards
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with diverse teams and visitors
Valid driving license with clean driving record for site-related driving tasks
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles involving security or site supervision
