Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and vigilant SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to join our security team in. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and patrons, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach to security, combined with your ability to manage access control and monitor premises effectively, will help maintain a secure atmosphere for all. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security skills in a dynamic setting while providing excellent service and protection.

Responsibilities

Manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorizations of guests, staff, and contractors
Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential issues
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, liaising with emergency services when necessary
Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks during your shift
Provide first aid assistance when required, demonstrating a calm and professional demeanor in emergencies

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this role
Proven experience in security or crowd management is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for motivated candidates
Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity through surveillance tools such as CCTV
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and experience with CCTV monitoring systems
First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and the public
