Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Flexible - Field Based

If you’re a Senior Structural Engineer looking to accelerate your development, broaden your technical exposure, and work on some of the most complex and high‑profile buildings in the UK, this role offers exactly that.

You’ll be joining an organisation at the forefront of the new Building Safety Regime, working directly with the Building Safety Regulator on Higher Risk Buildings and very large commercial projects designed by the UK’s major consultants. This is a rare opportunity to gain unparalleled insight into the structural performance, compliance, and safety of buildings that shape the national skyline.

What You’ll Gain

Your Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical authority on structural compliance, staying ahead of industry developments.
Support the delivery of structural engineering services across a wide range of complex building types.
Work closely with the HSE/BSR on Higher Risk Buildings under our framework agreements.
Provide expert advice to commercial clients on structural design and UK Building Regulations.
Review structural assessments, drawings, and calculations to ensure compliance.
Build strong relationships with major design consultants, project stakeholders, and internal teams.
Maintain accurate project and inspection records.
Contribute to internal and external training, sharing your expertise with others.
Support Associate Directors and Managing Engineers in delivering high‑quality technical outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering, ideally working towards Chartered status.
Strong technical judgement and the ability to work independently.
A growth mindset—someone who wants to stretch their capability and take on increasingly complex work.
Confidence in supporting and developing others.
A strategic thinker who can balance detail with broader project objectives.
Solid understanding of commercial Building Control and structural safety.
