Job Title: Lecturer - Childcare
Location: LC&GY
Hours: 29.6 hours per week (0.8FTE)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Lecturer's Scale £35,112.48 - £41,600.00 dependant on qualifications and experience

Are you experienced and knowledgeable in Childcare? Are you passionate about education and developing the skills and knowledge of our students? Are you an advocate for the childcare sector and the invaluable role it plays in children's lives?

We're looking for a Childcare Lecturer to continue offering quality-driven and up-to-date course delivery.

As part of our fantastic Childcare curriculum team, your knowledge, experience, and commitment will help to further support our students in pursuit of their aspirations. Guiding learners through the exciting world of early years education, you'll help them develop not only the skills but also the confidence to succeed.

**East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.

Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
