Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our property. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management. Duties

Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and laundry operations to uphold cleanliness standards.
Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage Hamper product stock rotation.
Coordinate with other departments to address special requests or maintenance issues promptly.
Foster a positive team environment through motivation, feedback, and recognition of outstanding performance.

Experience

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality role with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning chemicals, safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
Experience with hospitality operations, including guest service standards and quality assurance processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Previous experience using housekeeping management systems or related software is a plus.
