Housekeeping Assistant

The St James Hotel is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our driven and highly motivated team. This employment is based on a casual agreement

Our 123-bedroom hotel is based in the heart of the Town centre.

What we expect:

· Ensuring hotel rooms and public areas are cleaned and checked to the high standards required

· Control costs through correct usage, stock rotation and minimising wastage

· Ensure company Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH legislations are adhered to

· Carry out daily and weekly routines together with any special cleaning duties directed by the Head Housekeeper

· Report all maintenance issues immediately following the correct procedure

. Assist on Laundry

-Public area clean

Skills required-

A successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail.

- Flexibility (weekend and bank holidays included)

- Good time keeping.

- Problem solving

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Starting time

Monday- Sunday 7:45am/ 8:30am start.

Includes Weekends 7:45am/8:30am
