Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience is essential. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry while working in a dynamic and social atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages accurately and efficiently to customers at the bar
Take orders and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items
Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming environment
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Manage multiple tasks effectively, including serving, cleaning, and restocking during busy periods
Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or issues promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service regulations (desirable)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
