First-Line Quality Control Guitar Technician

Are you passionate about guitars, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to work with some of the world’s most prestigious music brands? Based at our Guildford warehouse on Slyfield Industrial Estate, we are recruiting for a Quality Control Technician who will be available to check and set up in-bound guitars which have arrived direct from factory.

As a First-Line QC Technician, you will be responsible for thoroughly inspecting, testing, and setting up a wide range of guitars, either as part of the inbound QC process or completing our comprehensive pre-delivery inspection checks for our customer orders. You will also be required to test amplifiers, pedals, and other related products.

As this role is based at our warehouse, you must live within a commutable distance from Slyfield Industrial Estate, Guildford, in order to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing thorough Quality Control inspections and functional checks of inbound Guitars, identifying and resolving any defects where and when required.
Setting up Electric, Acoustic, and Bass Guitars for optimum playability and ensuring they meet and adhere to set standards.
Product Testing as required for relevant outbound customer orders.

Candidate Profile:

A positive, team player with excellent personal time management and communication skills.
A high level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
Strong guitar-playing ability is essential.
A keen passion for all things guitar and good product knowledge.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
