Team Leader – Working & Camberley Supported Living Services (Full-Time)

Locations: Working and Camberley
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Please note: There is no sponsorship available for this role.

We are currently recruiting for Team Leaders to join both our Working and Camberley supported living services.

Our services support adults with mental health needs, autism, and learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities. As we continue to grow and develop our services, we are creating new opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals who want to progress their career in care leadership.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting and guiding a dedicated team of support workers while empowering the people we support to achieve their goals, build independence, and live meaningful lives.

Your Role & Purpose

As a Team Leader, you will lead by example, promoting a positive, person-centred culture where both staff and the people we support feel valued and respected.

You will:

Supervise, mentor, and support the development of your team.
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and independence of the people we support.
Oversee daily operations, rota planning, and effective handovers.
Encourage participation in activities, community engagement, and skill-building opportunities.
Maintain high standards of care planning, documentation, and compliance with CQC and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Allocate duties, support rota planning, and help ensure smooth service delivery.
Provide guidance, supervision, and encouragement to create a strong team culture.
Support individuals with personal care, medication, and daily routines while promoting dignity and independence.
Encourage hobbies, activities, and community involvement.
Work alongside families, external professionals, and clinical teams.
Respond confidently to incidents, update risk assessments, and promote positive outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience within care, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, or behaviours that may challenge.
Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable).
A valid UK driving licence.
Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team.
A calm, compassionate, and solution-focused approach.
Strong organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
Flexibility to support a range of shifts, including occasional evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, or waking nights.
