Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmaceutical Procurement Executive to join our company. They will be responsible for carrying out the procurement activities required to ensure the compliant and timely importation of medicine. They will play an active role in developing and maintaining a compliant and patient centric supply chain. The role on a day to day basis, includes the following responsibilities:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with GMP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Liaise with The Home Office and obtain Import/Export licenses as required
Ensure Home Office reporting is up to date with imports/Exports procured.
Investigating invoice discrepancies. (i.e. analysing invoices to make sure we are paying the correct price for the quantities requested)
Home office – registering new products with the Home Office, applying for permits and endorsing the correct amount.
Follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to execute supply chain approvals as requested by the Head of the department.
Coordinate with logistics and warehousing to ensure smooth inbound and outbound in-house operations.
Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as required by your changing role within the company and the overall business objectives of IPS.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or similar.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement or supply chain management within a regulated environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Good understanding of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
