Promotional Sales Assistant

Birmingham Full-Time | In-Person

If you enjoy face-to-face interaction, working in energetic environments, and representing organisations that value genuine customer engagement, this Promotional Sales Assistant role offers a great opportunity to build experience in sales and promotions.

Our Eternal is a growing promotional sales partner that works with established brands and not-for-profit organisations to deliver in-person campaigns across the UK. Their focus is on creating positive customer experiences through live, local campaigns that connect with people in the places they already spend time — including neighbourhood locations, busy local areas, and community-based settings.

As part of their Birmingham expansion, they’re now looking for confident and motivated individuals to join their promotional sales team. No previous experience is required, as full training is provided.

About the Role

As a Promotional Sales Assistant, you’ll represent one of our active campaigns in local areas across Birmingham. These campaigns are designed to engage people in everyday environments where they live, shop, and work, allowing for relaxed, genuine conversations rather than high-pressure selling.

You’ll speak with members of the public, clearly communicate campaign messages, and support the sign-up or sales process in a professional and approachable way. This is a hands-on, people-focused role suited to individuals who enjoy variety, independence, and working toward shared performance goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the promotional team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Representing client campaigns in local neighbourhoods, busy public areas, and community locations
Approaching people in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner
Starting conversations, understanding individual needs, and introducing the campaign clearly
Explaining key product features, service benefits, or campaign messages in an engaging and easy-to-understand way
Answering questions and handling common objections confidently following training
Supporting customers through the sign-up or sales process where applicable
Accurately recording customer information in line with campaign and compliance guidelines
Managing your time effectively across assigned areas and locations
Working toward daily and weekly performance targets, both individually and as part of a wider team
Taking part in regular coaching, feedback, and development sessions

What We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who enjoys meeting new people and communicating confidently in face-to-face environments. You don’t need previous sales or promotions experience — a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and professional approach are far more important. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working independently as well as within a team, and motivated by working toward clear goals.

What’s On Offer

You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from day one, alongside weekly pay with performance-based incentives. Average earnings will be between £600 - £700 per week. The client offers clear progression opportunities for a motivated individual who demonstrates consistency, strong communication skills, and a positive work ethic. You’ll also gain valuable, transferable experience in sales, customer engagement, and professional communication within a supportive, team-driven environment.
