Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Short Order Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing quick, delicious meals with efficiency and precision, ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your energetic approach to food preparation will contribute to a lively dining environment where guests feel welcomed and satisfied. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of quick-service menu items with speed and consistency, ensuring timely delivery to customers
Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food storage and sanitation practices
Assist in assembling meals quickly during busy hours, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and health department guidelines at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests
Familiarity with restaurant equipment, including grills, fryers, and prep stations
Previous experience serving or interacting directly with customers is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
