Job description - the role

As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive X-ray inspections of aerospace components, ensuring products meet stringent quality, safety and regulatory standards. Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will follow approved inspection procedures while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and safety.

As a Radiologist you will:

Report to the NDE Production Leader.
Prioritise workload in line with the customers’ requirements.
Interpretate and evaluate of indications.
Complete inspection documentation as necessary including raising failed inspection and correction documentation operation of the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system.
Record work details and non-conformance, checking efficiency of the process.
Work to the relevant Quality & Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures
Undertake basic housekeeping tasks, including 5s activity. Involvement in Process Improvement activity.

what we require for the Radiologist position:

Level 2 Radiographer (preferred but not essential)
Aerospace experience in other Non-Destructive Testing Technique
Good organisation and written communication skills
Computer literate will be required to use various software applications.
Team player with the energy and drive to succeed
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
Customer, Quality and Delivery focused
