Warehouse Operative

Join Our Team

We're looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team.

This is an important role within our warehouse operation, where you'll help ensure customer orders are packaged, picked, palletised and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll work as part of a team to meet operational targets while maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and customer satisfaction.

Hours of Work

Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Thursday to Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm

Salary

£13.11 per hour

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the overall productivity of the warehouse and ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time.

You'll be responsible for packaging, putting away, picking and palletising orders, as well as loading and unloading goods from vehicles. You'll also process outbound receipts using warehouse systems and work to established dispatch timetables.

Key Responsibilities

Package, put away, pick and palletise customer orders.
Load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently.
Achieve targets and standards set by Team Leaders and Managers.
Process outbound receipts using warehouse systems and work to dispatch timetables.
Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and Line Managers as appropriate.
Maintain excellent standards of customer satisfaction.
Work efficiently and effectively as part of the warehouse team.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment using 5S principles.
Follow all Health & Safety regulations, Company policies and procedures.
Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

About You

Have a reliable, hardworking and positive approach to work.
Be organised and able to work accurately to deadlines and dispatch schedules.
Have good attention to detail when picking, packaging and processing orders.
Be comfortable working in a busy, hands-on warehouse environment.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Be able to follow established processes, procedures and safety requirements.
Have a customer-focused approach and take pride in maintaining high standards.
Be willing to complete required training and refresher training when necessary.
