With a global footprint, the Universal Music Group Rights Product & Services Team designs, develops, delivers, maintains & supports technical solutions which enable the capture and maintenance of contracts relating to repertoire delivery and the assignment of repertoire delivered under those contracts.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in modern .NET and React who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and influencing technical direction.
This is a senior individual contributor role within our Rights engineering team. Alongside designing and delivering high-quality software, you'll work closely with the Technical Lead to shape technical decisions, mentor other engineers and help drive engineering excellence across the team.
You'll be trusted to lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions where appropriate and act as a technical point of contact when the Technical Lead is unavailable.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable navigating complex legacy systems while helping evolve our platform towards modern cloud-native architectures.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining hands-on software development with technical leadership. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, mentor others, contribute to engineering strategy and play a key role in the evolution of a globally used Rights platform supporting one of the world's largest music companies.
Skills and Experience Required
Practical experience integrating AI coding assistants and agentic workflows into day-to-day engineering (code generation, test writing, refactoring legacy code, documentation)
