A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive , a Live-in Housekeeper and Gardener/ Handyman to join a private household on a beautiful estate near Haslemere, Surrey. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and high-quality on-site accommodation. The successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the household and grounds, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends as required.
Key Housekeeper partner Responsibilities:
- Daily housekeeping to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organisation
- Cooking and meal preparation for the principals, with occasional informal entertaining
- Household provisioning and stock management
- Running errands and managing deliveries
- Liaising with contractors and service providers as needed
- Ensuring the home is always guest-ready
- Flexibility to support weekend routines and events
- Occasional pet care and other ad hoc duties
Maintenance/Grounds Partner
- General property maintenance and minor repairs
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Vehicle cleaning and basic maintenance
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Security checks and general estate support
Requirements
- Previous experience working on a private estate, in a private household, or within luxury hospitality min 3 years.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage daily operations efficiently
- Exceptional presentation skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard at all times
- Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and proactive
- Excellent references
- Full UK driving licence for at least one with car
- Right to work in the UK
