About the Role
Your Paws Pet Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Dog Handler with proven training knowledge to join our dedicated team. This is a hands-on role that involves working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments in a structured, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle and supervise dogs during walks / daycare / group sessions
- Follow and implement training and behaviour management plans
- Observe and report on dogs’ health and behaviour
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional working areas
- Drive company van for pick-ups and drop-offs (valid UK driving licence required)
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience handling dogs
- Strong understanding of canine behaviour and positive reinforcement methods
- Confident working with all breeds, including those with behavioural challenges
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Excellent communication and reliability
- Full Manual UK driving licence (MUST HAVE)
