Our clubs are Ofsted registered and offer wraparound care for children aged 3-11 years, including before and after school, as well as during school holidays. We are dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Overview

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Afterschool Club Playworker to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting children's development through engaging activities, supervision, and care after school hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a dynamic environment.

1 free childcare space is available for working parents.

Duties

Supervise children during afterschool sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Organise and facilitate fun, educational activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity
Support children with their personal needs, including snack times and transitions between activities and their school day
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist with setting up and delivering activities and tidying up after sessions to keep the club organised
Encourage positive behavior and foster an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued

Qualifications

Experience in childcare, education, nannying or similar roles is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Ability to drive is advantageous for supporting club logistics but not essential
Passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe environment
Reliable, energetic, and proactive with a positive attitude
Previous experience with childcare certifications or training is beneficial but not mandatory, in house training can be offered in first aid, food hygiene, childcare related qualifications.
