Loft conversion labourer

MUST BE Self employed

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various tasks within our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Perform general maintenance tasks around the site, including cleaning and organising work areas.
Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as required.
Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.
Report any issues or hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites is preferred.
A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
