Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Fast Food Manager to run our busy smash burger container kitchen.

This is a lone-working role, so you must be confident managing all aspects of the operation independently while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness and customer service. Hours will be Monday to Friday 12pm-9:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

Opening and closing the food container each day
Preparing fresh ingredients and completing daily food preparation
Cooking and serving high-quality smash burgers and other menu items
Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock takes
Ordering and purchasing stock from suppliers
Monitoring food costs and reducing waste
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and customer areas
Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
Receiving and checking deliveries
Managing cash handling and till reconciliation where required
Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance issues
Promoting excellent customer service and handling customer enquiries
Assisting with menu development and specials where appropriate

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-food, takeaway, kitchen management, supervisory or team leader role
Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen alone
Strong organisational and time management skills
Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
