Full job description

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for a keen chef who genuinely loves cooking, wants to work with real ingredients, and is excited to develop their skills in a supportive, professional kitchen.

If you care about flavour, technique, and doing things properly — not cutting corners — you’ll feel right at home with us.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be an important part of a close-knit team, contributing to a kitchen that values quality, consistency, and pride in the food we serve. You’ll be hands-on, learning every day, and encouraged to grow as a chef.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality dishes to a high standard
Working with seasonal ingredients and solid cooking techniques
Supporting prep across the kitchen
Keeping your section organised, clean, and running smoothly
Working closely with the team to deliver calm, well-paced services
Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
Helping with stock control and minimising waste
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where needed

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a professional kitchen (Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up)
A genuine passion for food and a desire to improve as a chef
Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Confidence with basic cooking techniques and willingness to learn more
Ability to work well under pressure while keeping standards high
A positive attitude and strong team mentality

What You’ll Get

£13.00–£13.75 per hour, dependent on experience
Generous tronc share on top of hourly pay
£100 signing bonus after successfully passing a 3-month probation
2-weekly pay
35–48 hours per week

Minimum 1 year kitchen experience
Minimum 1 year food safety experience
