About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for cleanliness, organisation, and luxury hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This full-time role is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Management team in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support housekeeping colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring operational efficiency, quality standards, and excellent service delivery throughout the hotel. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and immaculate environment for guests and colleagues alike.
What you will do
Supervise the daily activities of the Housekeeping team, ensuring all assigned duties are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to housekeeping colleagues.
Allocate daily work assignments and monitor productivity throughout each shift.
Ensure guest requests and special room requirements are fulfilled promptly and professionally.
Support the management of room status updates and coordinate effectively with Front Office and Engineering teams.
Identify and report maintenance issues, following up to ensure timely resolution.
Assist with inventory management, including linen, guest supplies, amenities, and cleaning equipment.
Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including inspection reports and shift handovers.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives within the department.
Handle guest concerns relating to housekeeping services with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all times.
Promote a positive team culture while motivating colleagues to achieve departmental goals and service excellence.
What you bring
Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
A positive, proactive, and hands-on leadership style.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
Confidence in handling guest interactions and resolving concerns effectively.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in line with operational requirements.
