Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Service Team Lead

Working Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Location: Office based - Hook, Hampshire

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience

Motohaus Powersports is one of the UK's most pro-active Motorcycle Accessory Distributors, responsible for promoting and distributing some of the industry's most innovative brands. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Representative to join our customer service team.

This is a front-line customer service role looking after both our B2B and B2C customers. You will be a first point of contact by phone and email - answering questions, providing product information and technical support, and making sure every enquiry is handled quickly and well. It is a hands-on role focused on delivering excellent service day to day as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound customer enquiries by phone and email for both B2B and B2C customers.
Provide product information, technical support and general assistance.
Process orders and arrange backorders for items that are out of stock.
Use our Gorgias helpdesk and AI-assisted tools to handle tickets efficiently, and help keep our knowledge base accurate and up to date.
Resolve customer issues wherever possible, escalating more complex cases to the Customer Service Team Lead.
Work towards our customer service KPIs and support the wider team in hitting them.
Follow company policies and procedures.

Key Performance Indicators (measured weekly):

CSAT - customer satisfaction
First-Time Response - speed of first reply
One-Touch Ticket - resolving in a single interaction

These measures keep our service fast and consistent, and you will be supported by the Team Lead in delivering against them.

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine customer service orientation.
Confident and personable on the telephone.
Comfortable using computers and quick to learn new systems; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Shopify and inventory systems (Linnworks) is an advantage.
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini is a real plus, as they are part of how we work.
Well organised, able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Knowledge of motorcycles or motorcycle apparel and accessories is a plus but not mandatory.

Benefits:

Competitive Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Holiday: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 5 additional days.
Working Hours: The position has regular working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
