Full job description

- NO AGENCY APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED -

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

To carry out all welding operations and fabricate as required
Linishing and grinding of materials prior to leaving for customer deliveries
Fabricating from drawings provided
Working on stainless steel products/sheet metal
To liaise with the Designer and Production Manager to ensure that work carried out is accurate
Must be able to weld thin gauge material ranging from 1.2mm to 10mm
Working at customer sites to complete necessary jobs on occasion including, installations and repairs.
Supporting other Employees as required and if you are safe/trained to do so
Driving Company Vehicles to and from Customers/Suppliers
Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirements
Other duties as required
To undertake, willingly, any training the Company feels it necessary you have to ensure your own and others’ safety at work
Food industry/conveyor knowledge would be to an advantage but not essential as experience will be gained over time

Candidate will require:

Previous experience of TIG Fabrication/Welding in Stainless Steel

Ability to work from drawings

Have experience in thin gauge materials

Be able to measure and cut materials accurately

Work as part of a team

Possess excellent communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence

Mechanical skills preferred (i.e. Conveyor/Machinery)

Clean working conditions

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 16.00

Friday 07.00 - 13.00

Evenings/Weekends - Overtime paid at premium rates (1.33/1.5/2.0)
