Full job description

Due to continued growth, PayStream Accounting Services Limited have an opening for an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts department at our Altrincham office. Hybrid working options available subject to training and probation.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30.

Offers full support to train as a qualified accountant with study support and to progress within the role.

The Role:

Providing accounting, tax and administrative services to single person companies
Ensuring all statutory deadlines are met, with tailored advice being provided
Dealing with individual client queries, managing an email inbox
Gradual involvement with clients regarding VAT and PAYE
Understand and being able to communicate HMRC deadlines

The Person:

A positive attitude, being punctual and reliable
Ability to follow procedures
Ability to communicate clearly to clients, contractors and colleagues
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to prioritise workloads and multitask

Requirements:

Minimum grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
Graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business ideal
Office or administration experience
Experience of working within a customer service setting
Experience of working within a telephony based role
Working knowledge of Word and Excel

Progression:
