3-MAN DRAINAGE GANG REQUIRED
Location: Carlton-on-Trent (Conveniently located adjacent to the A1 between Newark and Retford)

Position: CIS Contract (Seasonal – running until December 2026)
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to FridayRate: Competitive / Negotiable (Depending on experience)
Based at our East Midlands offsite manufacturing facility, we are looking to recruit a full drainage gang consisting of:
• Machine Driver• Dumper / Roller Driver• Pipe Layer
About the role: You will work as a team to carry out deep drainage, pipe laying, excavation, and groundworks across our site and surrounding development areas. The work is varied, covering installation, backfilling, compaction, and associated concrete works to a high standard.
Requirements & Experience:
For all roles:
- Valid CSCS card
- Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit for active site work
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow site safety procedures
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
Machine Driver:
- Valid relevant plant ticket (e.g. 360 excavator, mini digger)
- Proven experience operating machinery for excavation, drainage, and grading work
Dumper / Roller Driver:
- Valid dumper and roller/ compaction plant ticket
- Experience moving materials, backfilling trenches, and compacting ground to specification
Pipe Layer:
- Strong background in deep drainage and pipe installation
- Experience setting levels, laying all types of drainage pipe, and jointing
- Knowledge of concrete works including pouring, finishing, and basic shuttering
