Now we’re looking for an enthusiastic Casual Commis Chef to join us on a flexible, as-needed basis.

Your Role As our Casual Commis Chef, you’ll support the kitchen team across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as needed. You’ll be:

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard under the guidance of senior chefs
Assisting with mise en place and basic food preparation
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food waste
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver smooth service

Hours: Casual, on-call shifts covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event services, including evenings and weekends as required.

What We’re Looking For: You don’t need Michelin stars, just passion for good food and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Some kitchen experience (preferred but not essential – full training given)
Flexibility and reliability to cover shifts at short notice
Attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
The ability to work efficiently under pressure
A positive attitude and a team spirit
