Conference Banqueting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Conference Banqueting Manager to join the team at Radstone Hotel. In this hands-on role, you will lead the Conference Banqueting team in delivering exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events, ensuring every occasion runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations.

Join a passionate team in a vibrant and dynamic environment, where we work together to deliver memorable experiences for our guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the Conference Banqueting team to deliver exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events.
Oversee the smooth running of events from set-up through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service.
Work closely with the wider hotel team to understand and deliver guest requirements.
Lead by example, providing hands-on support during busy events and ensuring the team maintains a professional and welcoming approach.
Recruit, train, coach and develop team members to support high standards of performance and service.
Ensure function rooms, bars and event spaces are prepared and presented to the required standard.
Monitor guest satisfaction and deal with queries or issues promptly and professionally.
Support with event planning and ensure all operational details are communicated effectively to the relevant departments.
Help maximise revenue through effective upselling and ensuring all agreed event requirements are delivered.
Maintain a positive, professional and collaborative working environment within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a Conference Banqueting, Events or Hospitality Management role.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
A positive, proactive and professional approach to problem solving.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional events and memorable guest experiences.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and events.
