Full job description

We are seeking an On Call Manager/Field Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within home care.

Responsibilities:

To ensure all staff provide high-quality care and support to Service Users in their own homes, including personal care, medication assistance and meal preparation.
To develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with Service Users, their families, and healthcare professionals.
To support with medical competences, observations of practice, manual handling checks and Spot checks on all Community Home Care staff.
To support to train new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively and compassionately.
Willingness to deliver care and support their team out on shift, when necessary.
To support the Quality Assurance Team with the supervision of a team of carers, ensuring adherence to care plans and the highest standards of care.
Supporting the Team Lead in completing and updating a weekly rota via the ECM system.
Liaise with healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care and support for Service Users.
To be part of the on-call service, on a rota basis, you will be required to assist with service user related matters, sickness and rota cover management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, including health and safety regulations.
To undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business
To comply with all policies of the organisation, as appropriate.
Any other duties as and when required

Hours:

Must be available 6:00am - 22:00pm for on call cover at least 3 days per week. Rota pattern to be discussed upon interview as this may vary.

What you will need:

A minimum of 2 years care experience, a full induction and on-going training to support you within your role will be provided.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the locations of some our calls.
