Pattern of Work – 42 hours, Monday - Friday

We're looking for skilled Mechanical Craft Professionals to join a number of our operational plants at our Scunthorpe site. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team, helping to keep critical equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

As a Mechanical Craft Professional, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our assets through planned and reactive maintenance activities. Your technical expertise will be essential in diagnosing faults, solving problems, and ensuring our operations continue to perform at their best.

Working in a fast-paced, highly automated and technologically advanced environment, you'll be empowered to make a difference every day. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, so a strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards is essential. You'll be confident identifying risks, implementing safe systems of work, and maintaining the highest standards across all maintenance activities.

What you need to bring

To be considered, you'll need to hold:

A minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant mechanical discipline, or
A recognised mechanical apprenticeship.*

Ideally, you'll have experience in mechanical maintenance and fault finding within a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or heavy engineering environment. However, just as important is your willingness to learn, embrace new technologies, and continuously develop your skills.

Experience of steelmaking processes would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We'll provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in the role and build a long-term career with us.

Evidence of qualifications/apprenticeship completion will be required.
