Domestic Assistant

Kingston Rehabilitation Centre

30 hours per week
(Bank Contracts are available)

CHD Living is a family-owned group of care services, established in 1984, providing high-quality care across Surrey and South London. We are committed to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where our residents feel valued and at home.

We are currently looking for a Domestic Assistant to support our housekeeping teams within our care home in Kingston-upon-Thames.

The Role

As a Domestic Assistant. You will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, while contributing to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out housekeeping duties in communal areas and residents’ rooms
Provide laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing clothes and bedding
Follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines
Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a warm and welcoming environment
Help create a positive atmosphere where residents feel comfortable and respected

What We’re Looking For

A reliable, caring, and positive attitude
A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Passion for supporting others and working in a care environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
Excellent written and spoken English
Right to work in the UK
