Full job description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Sprayer to join our manufacturing team in South Bank, Middlesbrough on our new state of the art powder coating line. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of products, contributing to our commitment to excellence in production. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
Monitor the coating process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct inspections of finished products to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically in powder coating.
Familiarity with powder coating techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
