Property Manager – Mighty Student Living

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Property Manager to join our friendly student lettings team. If you're organised, people-focused, and ready to play a key role in supporting a fast-growing property portfolio, we’d love to hear from you.

Mighty Student Living is a locally based, student-focused lettings agency in Lancaster. We specialise in providing accommodation and an approachable service to both students and landlords. With a growing portfolio and a strong reputation in the local market, we understand what students and landlords need—and work hard to deliver a hassle-free experience for both.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that manages student accommodation across the city. The role is varied and fast-paced, with a focus on keeping properties in good order and maintaining clear, helpful communication with tenants and landlords alike.

While previous property management experience is a bonus, it’s not essential—we provide full training. If you’ve worked in administration, customer service or a busy office environment and are confident using IT systems, you’ll fit in well.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of student properties on behalf of landlords
Arranging and conducting viewings and virtual tours
Carrying out routine property inspections
Organising and attending property visits with tenants
Responding to enquiries via phone, email, or in person at the office
Assisting with tenant check-ins and check-outs
Advertising available properties and taking marketing photographs
Coordinating property maintenance and keeping landlords/tenants updated
Processing tenant applications, reference checks, and deposit returns
Building strong, positive relationships with tenants and landlords

What We’re Looking For

Strong organisational and time management skills
Friendly, professional communication style
Good IT skills and confidence using property or CRM software (training provided)
Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
Previous lettings or property management experience is desirable but not essential
Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (mileage paid)

The Details

Full-time, permanent role: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
One later finish per week (5:30pm), and 1 in 4 Saturdays (with a day off in lieu)
Based in Lancaster, with travel to local properties as required
