Duties

Review prescriptions prepared by pharmacy technicians for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and safety standards
Verify medication labels, dosages, and instructions to prevent dispensing errors
Ensure all medication orders meet regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve any discrepancies or concerns related to prescriptions
Maintain meticulous records of verification processes in accordance with pharmacy protocols
Support medication administration processes by confirming correct medication delivery to patients when needed

Skills

Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medication dispensing procedures
Knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing prescriptions and medication labels
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients
Ability to follow strict regulatory guidelines and organizational policies diligently
