Looking for a rewarding career in care in Falkirk? Glenbervie Care Home is recruiting Care Assistants to join our friendly, professional team. This is your chance to play your part in enabling adults with a variety of health needs to live their very best lives every day.

We use the latest digital care technology to support safe, effective and truly person‑centred care for our residents, who are predominantly aged between 18-65, with an additional resident group aged over 65.

About Glenbervie Care Home

We are a modern, purpose‑built home in the quiet surroundings of Glenbervie Business Park on the outskirts of Larbert, ideally located for care jobs in Falkirk and central Scotland. Opened in 2016, our home offers:

Spacious en‑suite bedrooms with electric beds, pressure‑relieving mattresses, TV, USB hub points and Wi‑Fi.
Bright communal lounges, and well-equipped kitchen-diners in 4 self‑contained units, plus quiet spaces for reflection.
On‑site café, pub, hairdressing salon, family room, training room and activities room.
Extensive landscaped gardens designed for residents’ enjoyment.

The Role - Care Assistant / Carer

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents live as independently and comfortably as possible in a warm, supportive environment. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for caring jobs, caring assistant roles or your first job in care in Scotland.

You’ll,

Deliver high standards of personal care and meaningful activities in line with individual care plans (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, nutrition).
Support daily living and household tasks, promoting dignity, choice and independence.
Encourage and assist residents to take part in social activities, hobbies and community outings.
Help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
Observe and promptly report any changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or concerns to the nurse or senior on duty.
Use our electronic care systems to record accurate, up‑to‑date information.
Build positive relationships with residents, families and visitors, helping them feel welcome and supported.

You will work as part of a close‑knit care team and will never be asked to do anything you are not trained and confident to do.

About You

You’ll,

Have the right to live and work in the UK.
Have a genuine interest in working with adults with a variety of health needs who need care and support.
Have a kind, patient and reliable nature – and be caring and compassionate.
Have great communication skills and a team‑focused approach.

We’d especially like to hear from you if,

You have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Carer or similar role in a care home, hospital or home‑care setting.
You have personal interest or personal experience in caring for people with a variety of health needs.
You have knowledge of living with dementia care or working with adults with a variety of health needs.

If you are new to care jobs, full training will be provided. Enthusiasm and a commitment to high‑quality care are more important than experience!
