We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunities to join an award winning team.

Duties

Assist in food preparation by following recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
Support the kitchen team in cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes efficiently during service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
Contribute to food production processes, including prepping ingredients, portioning, and assembling menu items.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and supervisors to learn new techniques and improve skills.
Support supervising staff in managing kitchen tasks, ensuring a cohesive team environment focused on excellence.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Basic culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support a collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
Leadership qualities or supervising experience are advantageous for future growth opportunities.
A genuine passion for hospitality, food production, and delivering exceptional guest service.
