The role
- As our Health and Safety Co-Ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an effective and responsive health and safety service across the organisation.

You will work closely with the Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll help ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, promote colleague wellbeing, and support the continuous improvement of health and safety practices throughout the business.

Coordinate the organisation’s Health Surveillance Programme in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies.

Manage and support e-welfare self-assessment processes, including Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and the safe use of portable electrical appliances.

Lead the administration and provision of health and safety technology, including Lone Worker Devices, delivering personal issue processes and colleague briefings.

Support the day-to-day operations of the Health and Safety Team, ensuring accurate record keeping and data integrity.

Provide administrative and operational support in response to health and safety enquiries, inspections and assessments.

Adopt a proactive and forward-thinking approach to the management of health and safety.

Assist in maintaining effective systems, processes and reporting mechanisms that support compliance and best practice.
