Passfield Social Club aims to bring our community together.

In this role, you'll meet lots of people, serve drinks and snacks, and ensure a safe and friendly environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster memorable experiences for our members and guests.

This position is an amazing opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a warm, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service at the bar,
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences,
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during beverage preparation and service,
Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system,
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces,
Monitor customer behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-serving,
Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and ordering supplies as needed,
Be knowledgeable of and carry out duties as required with the Licensing Act 2003.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude is key!
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage service
Strong serving skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions efficiently
Excellent time management to handle busy periods smoothly
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Availability on Sundays and/or Mondays is desirable)
A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
