BRIEF DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Quality Data & Systems Supervisor to work as part of our Quality Team in Lisburn.

The Quality Team in Decora are responsible for ensuring high quality products are received and produced according to the Company’s Quality Management System. Our Quality Data & Systems Supervisor would be responsible for analysing quality data, reviewing system and process effectiveness, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction, all in line with ISO 9001 and our company objectives.

Hours of work: Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

Location: Lisburn, BT28 2FL

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, review and analyse quality performance data from customer complaints and returns.
Identify trends, recurring defects, risks and improvement opportunities to initiate with other teams.
Produce weekly/monthly quality reports, dashboards and KPI updates and monitor performance against agreed quality KPIs.
Ensure quality data is accurate, complete, consistent and reported on time.
Provide assistance and technical advice on product quality matters as required to support other operational teams within the business.
Promote, champion and achieve a ‘getting it right first time’ approach.
Promote, champion and drive time efficient methods of work and the use of AI with the Team.
Overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective management and training & development.
Putting forward any personal training needs that you identify and undertaking personal training and development as required.
Allocate work, check accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
Provide strong leadership, direction and mentoring, thereby fostering and sustaining co-operation and team spirit.
Along with the Quality Assurance Manager set measurable and realistic KPIs, work standards and expectations and monitor and communicate progress against same. Take corrective action where appropriate.
Support the implementation of new or revised quality processes across the business.
Help implement changes linked to new legislation, customer requirements, company policy or best practice.
Provide guidance to operational teams on quality standards and compliance expectations.
Support managers and supervisors with quality system queries.
Assisting in the completion of internal quality audits/re-audits to ensure compliance with the company’s quality policy and procedures on all applicable sites together with assisting with preparation for the External Audit.
General upkeep, and continuous improvement, of relevant quality standards and practices as determined by the Quality Policy and Management.
Acquiring and retaining in-depth knowledge of company products, operating systems and procedures.
Display a professional, confidential and co-operative approach at all times.
Flexible to travel to other sites as and when required.
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 years’ recent supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality admin, quality compliance or quality control in a similar environment.
Good understanding of quality processes, procedures and the importance of accurate record keeping.
Strong organisational abilities.
Good level of computer literacy, with a working knowledge of MS Excel.
Excellent communication skills, can communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
Ability to work on own initiative and make sound decisions within role responsibilities.
Ability to support, guide or supervise others in a professional and constructive manner.
Be able to display a professional, confidential and co-operative approach at all times.
High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
Quality systems/ISO awareness.· Supervisory or team leadership capability.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Relevant and proven experience of handling and resolving customer queries
Basic Navision and BlinData experience
