Security Services Assistant

Contract: Professional Services, Production & Technology

Location: Liverpool, L3 9QJ

Hours of work: 32.5

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (12:30 - 19:00)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £14.50

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused individual to join our team in a multi-functional role combining Security, Reception, Facilities, and Hospitality services.

This position plays a key part in ensuring the workplace is safe, efficient, and welcoming, while delivering a high standard of service to colleagues, clients, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and capable of supporting all operational areas as required.

This is a varied, hands-on position requiring flexibility across multiple service areas. You will be responsible for maintaining site security, delivering a high-quality front-of-house experience, supporting facilities operations, and managing hospitality services.

The Role

Providing a visible and effective security presence, including monitoring systems, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents.
Delivering a professional reception service, including meeting and greeting visitors, managing enquiries, and handling bookings.
Supporting facilities operations, including reporting maintenance issues, assisting with office set-ups, and ensuring a safe and well-presented environment.
Managing meeting room set-ups, including layout changes, AV preparation, and room resets.
Coordinating food and beverage orders, receiving deliveries, and occasionally serving refreshments at meetings and events.
Maintaining excellent standards across all client-facing areas.
Using internal systems and IT platforms effectively to manage bookings, access control, and reporting.

About You

You will be a confident and reliable individual with a strong customer service focus and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

Previous experience in security, reception, facilities, or hospitality.
Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and booking systems.
Ability to confidently support and adapt across all service areas.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, calm, and approachable manner.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards.
Flexible, team-oriented, and proactive approach.

An SIA licence would be advantageous; however, this is not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
